A base of a 6-course food & cocktail pairing menu was set and hosted in a takeover of Mr. Smith, a speakeasy bar with the ambience of a living room. The menu was entirely guided by theory, while invitees were asked to bring something to the table, each adding their own contribution to the concept.
What emerged was an experiment held together by collective care - curating an intimate space full of food, drinks, music, art & connection

We returned to Mr. Smith for a second take, welcoming more guests, refining the menu to elevate the experience, and introducing an art bazaar. What began as an experiment evolved into a shared space, more intentional, more immersive, and more alive.
The chase started to feel more homely, the more we fucked around, the more fun it got.

The final edition at Mr. Smith took the people element further than ever before - into true community. We closed the series with our classical menu pairing, reimagined as a fully vegetarian experience inspired by seasonal flavours and local produce.
An expanded art bazaar and carefully placed conversation starters invited guests to mingle freely and sparked meaningful exchanges throughout the evening.

Diederick Van Nispen, our music junkie, was questioning himself:
"what if I went into the city for a broodje, and then i just take a look to my left, and see a set being played inside a hair salon, how dope would that be?"
The what if came to life and curated an all-day exhibition, consisting of an art bazaar, music sets and a live mural painting, showcasing Maastricht's local artworks & artists.

A full day programming has been curated to take our community through an experience of skate culture, music & art.
An public edition hosting a bowl skate contest, art & clothing bazaar, performances, pizza, cocktails, live art & music. A showcase of Maastricht's culture, flavours & sounds. 700-guests made the garage buzz from the mad energy that was present.
One for the books, the goosebumps were through the sky!
